About the Artist

I paint the quiet moments, a row of trees against a fading sky, a single stem catching afternoon light. My work lives somewhere between folk art and modern minimalism: muted color, simple shapes, a little imperfection left in on purpose. I work primarily in acrylic, on canvas and paper, drawn again and again to botanical and floral forms.

Most of my inspiration comes from my family. I’m raising young kids, and that season of life; the mess, the wonder, the way they notice things I’d otherwise walk right past, finds its way into my work.

My faith is at the center of it all, too. I create because I believe creativity is a gift from God. “Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning” Lamentations 3:23 is a verse I return to often.

I’m based in Nashville, TN, where I paint out of my home studio usually beside my kids and in and out of everyday moments. Every piece is one of a kind, made by hand, start to finish. If something here catches your eye, I’d love for it to find a home with you.
